So, I'm leavin' for vacay in a few days and I'm really not interested in lugging a huge suitcase full of clothes and shoes so, I decided to just pack a few major pieces that I'm going to work around. Lots of airy and flowy dresses that are in desperate need of some Summer love. Of course the basics, jean shorts, white t-shirts, and a huge floppy hat. I went through my minimalist closet and picked a few things that I know I'm going to recycle during my vacation.
As I'm preparing for this mini vacation I can't help but think of the many purchases of clothing that I've made in the past that were made solely because it is a must have for the season. I thought maybe I could of use that money towards a purchase of a ticket to somewhere or even towards retirement. I know, I know, why in the world am I even thinking of retirement? Many of us Americans don't even own a savings account because we blow our money on clothes. Don't get me wrong I love clothes and fashion but life isn't about looking good and having the latest trend. For you fashionistas out there I would like to see more blogs on recycled fashion, more styles using recycled pieces from the past and if one must purchase buy pieces that you'll have for years to come.
So here are a few things that I just love to wear over and over again and that are going into my suitcase.
(My fave white lace dress)
(I'm all about this black lace shorts)
(Silk dress from Tiare Hawaii kinda reminds me of Indah Clothing)
(Just another Sunday walk with my puppy Bailey. I swear he is so photogenic!)
